Ultreya means ‘onward in your journey’ which came from a book I read called The Camino where people walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain. The old monks used to pass each other on the trail and say ‘Ultreya’ to one another meaning ‘I see you, onward with your journey’ and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. So the whole point of the coffee shop is wherever you are in the journey of your life, hopefully we can say ‘journey onward’ to the people who come in and out every day.

In this episode of The Coffee & Convos Podcast, we chat with Danielle Riggins and Bryan Baez, owners of the newly opened coffee shop, Ultreya Coffee and Tea. Danielle is an avid traveler and has over 12 years in the coffee industry and Bryan is an seasoned rock climber with experience in construction and opening his own rock climbing gym. They both joined forces after years of friendship and their passion for coffee and community to open up Ultreya Coffee and Tea. We chat about embracing the journey onward, thea reality of business partnership, and incorporating health and wellness into their business and day to day lives.
